day one of my husband's vacation

dear little girl, i'm sorry for sometimes dressing you like a boy.  i realize maybe it's not fair after the little girl from el salvador insisted to her aunt that you were a "nino".

if you see this scene reenacted on a beach near you, come over and say hi.  we intend on spending most of our days over the next two weeks near the water.

and if we can't get to the water, we'll bring it to us.  with bubbles.
