tough.

these two are hardcore.  it just may have been the coldest day we've had yet (and i know cold is relative depending on where you live, but it was COLD, people).  i scouted a site and called them half an hour before the session.  i think if i had given them the opportunity to back out, they would have.  but i didn't, so they were in.  and i'm so glad they didn't leave me hanging.  because if they didn't, we never would have gotten these:

cold meant lots of snuggling.  i love getting pictures of expectant couples because the love is flowing.  it seems like love gets kicked up a notch when there's a baby on the way that you know you had a part in making.  so sometimes it's fun to not focus on the belly for a second and just zoom in on the love.
friday is going to be an amazing giveaway featuring the talents of my friend, adrienne, from adrienne-marie designs.  she takes vintage furniture pieces (some that you would see in the thrift store and not even blink an eye at) and makes them incredible.  come back friday to win!

cousin "k"s

so.  my cousins.  sisters.  pregnant.  due within days of each other.  DAYS, people!  what are the chances?  we had to get some shots of them together in this lovely state.  and why not throw their hubbies in for a few as well.  i suppose they had something to do with them being in this predicament in the first place :)
have you ever seen two pregnant ladies standing belly to belly at the grocery store or at church with this look on their faces?  i feel like i have.  i'll let you guess what they were talking about.

geography lesson

what a great way to spend an evening!  this couple's laughter was infectious...they have so much fun together.  i couldn't quite get over how cute they were and when i first got a glimpse of the pictures, it was confirmed.  super cute.  and not only did i have a great time, i learned something new - where mauritius is! that's where fred is from and after googling it, i think i'm going to be asking for some hotel recommendations because it seriously looks like one of the most beautiful places on earth.

special thanks to stacey malleck for the "fresh fruit" inspiration...
